During pregnancy, Pilates programs are adjusted to suit the needs of the mother-to-be. At Art in Motion, we aim to help you cope with your changing body and stay strong and supple, while helping you avoid typical aches and pains that often accompany pregnancy. Through appropriate exercise you will learn heighten your body awareness and control, which in turn will improve the quality of your pregnancy. 

 

 

Post-Natal Pilates

 

After pregnancy, we work on helping you prepare for the physical demands of motherhood, such as excessive bending and lifting. We also help you regain your shape, focusing on abdominal tone and issues such as diastasis recti, as well as good posture, which often changes due to pregnancy.
